A lonely acacia tree in the twilight of the African savanna.

This photograph was taken on a Game Drive Safari Tour in the Masai Mara National Park Reserve in Kenya.

The sun was starting to disappear on the horizon, and I spotted this lonely Acacia Tree in the distance. The shadowed plain contrasted beautifully with the golden sky and the silhouette of the Acacia tree, so I just had to adjust the composition and shoot.

Our diverse group of professionals and passionate photographers agreed that this single image stood out as one of the best from our tour.
